Mama is a member of our church who enjoys the entire campus. From the sanctuary to the office and everywhere in between, Mama makes herself at home. Mama’s favorite Hymn is “Lord, Make Meow an Instrument of Your Peace”. We’d love to collect pictures of Mama in her natural habitat. Please send your pictures of Mama c/o Heather Babcock @ office@sloucc.org. We want to know… “Where’s Mama?”

Mama and Julie

In the quiet town of San Luis Obispo, nestled within the walls of a beautiful church, resides a feline named Mama. Known for her gentle demeanor and curious nature, Mama has become an integral part of the church community.
Every morning, she gracefully strolls through the pews, her paws quietly padding on the soft carpeted floors. Parishioners often find comfort in her presence, as she quietly observes their prayers and gatherings. Her calm and affectionate disposition has earned her the affectionate title of “Mama” among the churchgoers.
Mama’s daily routine includes basking in patches of sunlight that filter through stained glass windows and curling up in cozy corners during quiet moments. Despite her independence, she is always ready to offer a comforting purr or a gentle nuzzle to those in need of solace.
Her existence symbolizes tranquility and companionship within the sacred space, reminding all who visit of the simple joys found in companionship and serenity amidst life’s spiritual pursuits.
