MEET THE TEAM
Jason Sisk-Provencio
Pastor Jason completed his Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary and is an Ordained Minister of the United Church of Christ. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and completed his Clinical Pastoral Education at the UCLA Medical Center. Jason and Stephen, his husband and partner, live in San Luis Obispo.
Jeff Bruenning
Jeffrey Bruenning moved to the central coast in 2008 from Chicago and currently lives in Arroyo Grande with his wife Jeannie. He is the Marketing Manager at The Parable Group in San Luis Obispo.
Jeff has planned services with ministries and has led music and choirs for more than 20 years.
Debbie Ferson
Debbie has been the UCC SLO office manager since 2018 where she helps run the office and assists non-profit organizations in renting space for their meetings and event. She joined the United Church of Christ in 2010.
Debbie grew up on the central coast and moved back here after getting married. She currently lives with her wife and dog in Nipomo.
Kristi Hunter
Kristi is the Pastoral Assistant, Minister of Members, and Mindfulness Teacher. She says, “I love every single minute wearing all of my ‘hats’! It is a joy to serve this congregation. It has been a lifelong journey to get to where I am now, and I thank God every single day that I get to serve this church!”
Heather Babcock
Heather moved to the Central Coast from the Central Valley in 2010 with her wife, Shannon, and their son Matthew. They joined the UCC in 2021. As the Director of Christian Education, she oversees and promotes education opportunities, provides guidance and direction for teachers, recommends curriculum for our children/youth, and supports the pastor in the ministry of education.
Jeannie Bruenning
At home in a large kitchen, Jeannie enjoys not only the serving of the meal but all that goes into the preparation.
Jeannie spent many summers cooking alongside her aunt at a youth camp in North Carolina. There, they served 200 campers and staff three meals a day – family style.
Adam Loveridge
Adam grew up visiting the central coast every summer and eventually went to Cal Poly. He lives is Los Osos with his two kiddos, Hazel & Wylder.
Adam helps in the office assisting Debbie with various tasks and works with the AV Team.
